    By Lee Williams The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence will soon receive a second taxpayer-funded PPP loan of $579,530, which was approved by the Small Business Administration just last month. Last year, the gun control group received a PPP bailout of $695,000. As soon as the funds from the current loan are disbursed, it will mean the Brady Center has cost taxpayers more than $1,274,530. The multi-billion-dollar Paycheck Protection Program, or PPP, was launched by the federal government to help small businesses and their employees who were hit hard by COVID-19. In a letter sent Wednesday night and obtained by The Associated Press, Justice officials said the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause outweighs the measure that Gov. Mike Parson signed into law Saturday. The new rules penalize local police departments if their officers enforce federal gun laws. Mark and Patricia McCloskey became infamous last year when photos and video went viral showing the couple confronting a crowd outside their home when marchers trespassed in their Central West End neighborhood.     The pistol illustrated was manufactured by Astra of Spain from 1982 to 1989. It was once a common pistol in American gun stores in both .45 ACP and 9mm Luger (and even a few in .38 Super), eventually being replaces by the A-100 model. Gun-hating democrats (i.e. 99% of the party’s officialdom) made the hearing ludicrously short leaving room for only a cursory examination of the impact this dedicated civilian disarmament advocate would have on gun owners and the gun industry. Though Second Amendment defenders on the Senate Judiciary committee at times made Chipman look foolish, they failed to expose the danger he presents to our liberties.
